Algeria/Oran: opening of the 4th "Recycling Expo" international recycling trade fair

ORAN - The fourth edition of the "Recycling Expo" international trade fair for recycling, waste treatment, renewable energies, green energy development, preservation of natural resources and environmental protection opened on Monday, with some 50 exhibitors taking part.

The show was inaugurated by the local Director of the Environment, Ms. Nawel Boussif, in the presence of the acting Director of the Conservatoire national des formations à l'environnement (CNFE), partner of the event, Ms. Achour Hayat.

For her part, the Director of the CNFE, an establishment under the aegis of the Ministry of the Environment and Renewable Energies, dedicated to environmental awareness and training, said that the Conservatory was present at the show to highlight the importance of recycling for the environment.The Conservatory is also taking part in the preparation of a rich program of conferences on various themes related to recycling and waste recovery.

This program of conferences, scheduled alongside the exhibition, will address a number of themes, including "green opportunities for young people to launch environmental projects", waste management: state of play, national strategy and prospects" and "the role of associations in environmental protection".

Organized by the "SOS Event" events agency, the show brings together regional, national and international professionals in the fields of sorting, collection, recycling, waste treatment, renewable energies and equipment, according to the organizers.

Senegal, the only foreign exhibitor at the show, is the guest of honor at this year's event, it said, adding that the show is intended as a forum for exchange and discovery of new technologies.
